Wind Energy
To minimize our reliance on non-renewable energy, SENOR Metals generates 70% of its energy requirements through wind power. We operate wind turbines strategically located on the west coast of India, where optimal wind conditions ensure efficient energy generation. The electricity produced is directly fed into the Gujarat State Electricity Grid, which then supplies power to our manufacturing facility, reinforcing our commitment to clean energy solutions.
Solar Energy
Complementing our wind energy efforts, we have also integrated Solar Power into our operations. With a 1MW solar energy system, we harness the Sun’s abundant energy to further reduce our dependence on conventional power sources. This initiative strengthens our sustainability strategy while enhancing energy efficiency across our manufacturing processes.
Air Quality Management
We take proactive steps to ensure cleaner air and reduced emissions. Exhaust hot gases and zinc oxide are collected and passed through bag houses, where zinc oxide is captured and stored in designated drums. The oxide-free gases are then released at ambient temperature, ensuring minimal environmental impact. The collected zinc oxide ash is responsibly sold to government-authorized processors. Through advanced filtration systems and responsible waste management, we ensure that our manufacturing processes adhere to the highest environmental standards.
