As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components for a wide range of industries, including construction, automotive, and manufacturing. Your expertise in using advanced machinery and welding techniques will be crucial in ensuring high-quality metal products are produced efficiently and safely.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metalworking, with proficiency in welding, machining, and blueprint reading. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various tools and equipment, including MIG/TIG welders, plasma cutters, CNC machines, and press brakes.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to fabricate metal components accurately.
- Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to suggest improvements in product design and fabrication processes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in metal fabrication or a similar role.
- Knowledge of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Stick.
- Experience with CNC machines, plasma cutters, and other metalworking tools.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Certification in welding or metalworking (preferred but not required).
